well i know a couple mods you can do for cheap...

1) pull the front sway bar off, do not remove the rear, you'll be too tippy.
2) your exhaust is pretty rusty... easy fix though
3) air intake = ISR mod. I can give you a couple write ups

lol the reason you have rust there is because thats where the original mud flaps used to go collected all the salt there.

also does the 4runner not have AC?

haha no backgate you cant have it lol its may favorit 4runner ever made and im not letting it go any time soon

im going to leave the sway bars on, i had the front off on my pickup and i hate it, now this runner corners like nuts might do a mod so i can quick disconnect them.

yes the exhaust is going to be completely redone when i do the 3.4 swap in a month or so . going to run thorley headers, full 2.5" piping, highflow cat, and yes mak... a borla turbo muffler haha.

isr mod... yes hehe. depends on how long im keeping this 3vze. if it lasts me a month or longer without too much problems then i might run it for the winter and do the swap later. and yes i would love some links on the mod, even though im pretty sure i got it figured out lol.

So yeah first is top get this thing running decent ( just modded the clutch fan so it will stay on), then its bj spacers, ome 901 coils ( i think?), rear aussie, 35" Km2's . maybe a 1" BL for the 3.4 and to make the 35's fit better. then sliders, rear tube bumper. i basiacly want a nice DD and weekend warrior. SAS is in the future forsure

Looks good man. I love the 2door Runners.

I've always wanted to see someone chop one and make a removable top like the 1st gens.. But they're too rare..

same i was thinking of doing that but i cant chop a 2door runner lol. even though there are allot more up here in canada

actually i need some help. the gas peddle is really stiff, like you need to really push it and your leg gets tired after a while. So whats the best way to go about fixing it? i was just going to go and try and fire some greese through the cable but idk lol. any ideas?

thanks guys!

im going to need some help for sure so be ready haha. its looking like im doing the water pump and going to try and make the 3vze hold cold at idle then i will keep it for the winter. Then 33" 12.50 Km2's, rear aussie, sliders should keep me happy for a while . what do you guys think? im almost 100% sure it has 4.56's so im not going to regear and since im going 3.4 asap i should be great!

You don`t want the fan clutch on all of the time, that will hurt your gas mileage. Try finding the real problem as to why its running hot. If your rigging something else to try and stop the over heating, that`s not fixing anything that`s just masking a problem.

^^^ he's right. in reality, its costing you because now you're getting even crappier mileage, I.E spending more on gas which you could be spending that money to fix the issue in the first place
