Well the exhaust on my 79 4x4 short bed is totally shot, and needs to be replaced. This is just my plow truck that is totally rotted, so I want inexpensive parts. I looked on www.rockauto.com and they seem to only have 2wd exhaust parts. My truck is a non-cat, so I guess I need the front pipe and muffler? Any ideas as to where I can get the parts? Do you think the dealer would still have these parts?

Straight pipe it lol you could try a muffler shop?

 

for the time and money .. your local muffler shop can install the cheepest crap you'll find anywhere , and you wont even have to get your hands dirty !!

I ordered sticks of straight pipe from Summit and bent/welded my own. Then I stuck a $25 Advance Auto muffler on and done.

 

Well I can't bend and weld at home so I would like simple bolt on parts if they are available. As far as a local shop, the truck is not registered or insured so I can't drive it there.
