Brakes causing rough idle

Brakes causing rough idle
This is my first 22re and i love it very much. it wasn't until about two weeks after i dialed the idle speed up a tid bit when my engine started to give me some very troubling issues.
I own a 1993 single cab 4x4 PU with NO ABS and a 5 speed manual.
I noticed the engine started to lope at an idle. as i apply the brakes the engine lopes heavily and begins to rev up and down, almost as though the CPU is trying to reset the idle. this of course made me think that i had a vacuum leak somewhere on the engine.
The oil is clean and not milky so i do not believe that it is mixing with the coolant and the only thing that is cause my coolant reservoir to dwindle slowly is because the release hose is shooting out steam from the overheating. I do burn a little oil at low rpm's but i don't think that i have a blown head gasket.
As i searched for a vacuum leak I ran the engine and sprayed starting fluid around all the vacuum lines i could find including the brake booster area...nothing, no results. so i simply unplugged THE ONLY VACUUM LINE that i can see which connects the brake system to any part of the engine. when the line is disconnected from the booster at the booster the engine runs at a rough idle. When I cover the vacuum line end with duct tape the engine runs at a smooth idle but still overheats rather rapidly.
THIS IS THE ODD PART!
With the vacuum line disconnected at the booster and sealed off with duct tape on the line's end. causing the brake system to be completely detached from the engine in any way. i press the brake peddle while at a dead stop and engine idling THE ENGINE HAS THE SAME ROUGH OSCILLATING LOW IDLE! I don't possibly know where to begin with that nonsense LOL.
To sum it all up my engine is overheating rapidly even at an idle and somehow my brake peddle is cause my engine to idle rough without being connected by a vacuum line. I will eventually take it to the shop as a last resort but please share any info about a possible cause and hopefully a solution as well.
THANK YOU

The idle is going up and down because you have the idle set to high, turn the idle back down to were it was and it will stop. Try replacing the thermostat, there cheap and easy to do, and if that doesn`t work pull the radiator and have a shop look at. If the radiator is old then just replace it.
