i own an 81 shortbed 4x4 pickup and an 82 longbed as well. the 82 used to have a 5 speed on it and was swapped with a 4 speed. the 81 has the 5 speed. can i just swap them? the 81 is the "parts" truck. i dont know the name of the transmissions. L43? the 81 has factory ac too. can i stick that in the 82? the 81 has the 20R block and he 82 has the 22R. i want to do a kinda of restoration on the 82. nothing too crazy.

once i have figured out what i have i will begin parting out the 81 and shipping out parts to fund the build of the 82
