tundra/sequoia 17" rims tire size question

i have a stock 97 sr5 2wd, no lift, running boards off, and just picked up a set of tundra 17" wheels.
now im wondering i have the change the tires on them soon, whats the biggest ill be able to go without rub or slight rub?

im reading either 265/70/17 or 265/75/17 or even 265/65/17?
not sure but if i could get a confirmation thanks

I believe someone mentioned 265/70/17 would clear it. do a search. I came across it recently when trying to upgrade to different toyota wheels.

i have the 265/65/17 on my tundra rims right now. these are supposely the stock size for the tundra rims but i've read a few people had better results with the 265/70/17 without rub and with a smoother ride. the 265/75/17 will rub for sure i think unless you're lifted a bit.

i personally am going with the 265/70/17 on my next tire change.

I have the 17" rims with 265/70's with slight rubbing (2.5" suspension lift), but .25" spacers fixed it. No problem with 265/65, though.

I have 255/75/17 BFG mud terrains that are jeep rubicon take-offs. Measure bigger then the 265s. They are not on tundra rims but they are on FJ steelies. STock height, only rub at a full turn going up a hill very slightly.
