Fuel Delivery Issues

Fuel Delivery Issues
I'm hoping someone can help me out because i really need to sell my Yota but i want to pin down this problem first.
So it's an 84 with a carbureted 85 motor in it. I pulled the motor out of my trail rig and put it in my daily. This is when it started giving me trouble.
I will be driving and all of a sudden she will start cutting out and die. Push on the diaphragm on the carb and it just blows air out... it should be blowing fuel. So i repressurize the fuel lines with an air compressor and she will start right up and run fine. Sometimes for a week, sometimes for 30 minutes.
I have deduced that its either a faulty fuel pump (not likely) or i have a leak in my fuel line and the pump is sucking air into it.
What do you guys think?

I would go for a faulty fuel line, hoses could even be weak and collapsing when sucking from the tank, also check your fuel cap or the tank vent make sure it isnt clogged or getting blocked creating a vacuum from the tank. Probaly not that but just an Idea

Well i bought 6 feet of fuel line. Being a Utah truck, it's seen it's share of salt. I was planning on replacing all of the rubber lines.
I pulled off the first one (thinking it was the most likely culprit) and sure enough the inside of the fuel line was riddled with small cracks causing air to leak into the line.
Going on 4 days now and shes running like a top. Anyone want to buy her? $2500
