what trans do i have?
been searching to no avail. if i didnt search well enough, tell me please. i have an 84 runner 2.4 2bbl/5spd and were trying to change the t-case out for a top shift case. the rear seal on the tranny looks ok but i want to replace it for good measure. i went on the autozone web and tried to look it up and there apparently different tranny's for these runners/trucks. is there a way to run the vin or something to find the tranny model? and yes looking for #'s on the tranny will happen in a few. thanks guys.
