pouring oil. 86 22re

i have an 88 pickup with an 86 22re motor. so i basically built this motor from the ground up. the head was warped so i replaced it. got everything back bolted down to torque specs and it was all good till i tried to fire, now oil appears to be pouring from between the head and block at the front of the intake manifold. any help and or suggestions are appreciated. would it be easier to fix this or just swap in a 350?

thanks,
Brandin

Fixing it would be so much easier. My guess is when you put the timing cover on you tweaked the head gasket or another gasket. It is a mistake I made before.
