wheres my fuel?

just installed fresh rebuild engine in my new to me runner. It seems i am not getting fuel into the cylinders. when i open the cold start injector and crank engine i have fuel pour out. then i pulled the plugs and they are still new and dry i would think they would be wet after crankink for several minutes. Is it possible for fuel pump to be bad as in not strong enough to work the injectors. when i bought runner it never really ran i could limp it around block and thats it. I have checked the easy stuff i know of like fuses and spark. the EFI relay seems to be working i can hear it click when turn on the key. I am getting very frusterated with this thing, allready have a lot of money invested and cant even drive it little alone wheel the piss out of it. All help is very appreciated.

it could be clogged fuel filters (theres one on the framerail also that stumped me for a while), kinked fuel lines, defective pump or relay, no fuel in tank (lol jk), and since you did an engine rebuild, im assuming your upper/lower intake is clean, and your fuel injectors arent clogged . thats all i can think of for now

Double check the physical connections for your main relay and circuit opening relay. I would even suggest unmounting your fuse panel from the driver side kick panel and pushing the connectors for the main relay futher into the panel to insure connection.

I had a very similar issue and it drove me absolutely insane. It was one of my connectors for my main relay just barely came loose. The main relay still clicked on and off but it was not pressurizing fuel and my cylinders remained dry.

Good luck!

Sounds electrically related since your CSI is getting fuel for sure, it runs off of the fuel rail as you know so if that has fuel pressure so do the injectors.

Check the 2 wires that run off the finned aluminum box mounted on the passenger fenderwell, this is what fires your injectors. If it is not plugged in it will not opern the injectors also make sure the wires havent pulled loose from the plug. Let me know if this works

Your talking about the solenoid resistor, i had this part go bad on my 86 4Runner, it took me a while to figure it out but once i did and replaced it with a spare one that i had, my 4Runner started on the first try,
