22r to re cab wiring problems
Hey yotatech! Well I have a huge headache after spending the whole day trying to figure out why I don't have any power to my cab... The truck is a 87 xtra cab that was carb,, rebuilt the engine and decided to do the EFI conversion.... So I am almost done and decided to tackle the wiring in the cab (the donor efi stuff is from a 4runner) Heres the problem, I hook my battery up and have headlights and hazards(had to splice the left blinker into the truck harness) and I have power to all the fuses under the hood but I have jack squat in the cab and have spent hours on hours trying to figure this crap out.... Before you ask I have checked all fuses and are all good, the thing I can't figure out is I can trace power going into the truck in the passenger fender but once in the cab I cant find it anywhere!!!! PLEASE HELP! Im ready to throw in the towel!

Check and recheck, swaps like that involve too many variables to solve your problem with one answer.
If it makes you feel better, I just did a body swap on a 85 4wd toyota truck with an 85 2wd truck body, but the 2wd was a cut off date 85 so everything was entirely different including vacuum lines etc, so that was really a nightmare!
Just be patient, take a multi meter and find out where you have power, and then try to trace it back from that point to the cab and find out where the power ends.
Also, welcome to YT
