85 22re dies at idle

85 22re dies at idle
I new to this forum and I am hoping someone out there can help me figure out a problem that has been getting worse.
My 85 Toy has been dying when I come to a stop. Tonight it became worse in that it lost all eletrical power right after dying. The power came back a couple minutes after sitting, but I had to keep the rpm's up too keep it running to get home. I haven't had time to look at it yet, but I'm hoping someone will give me some direction when I get a chance to look at it.
