I have a '94 Hilux 4x4 extracab with a cap. I would like to put it on my 'new' '04 Tacoma 4x4 extracab. The beds seem to be the same length. Are the beds the same size so that I can transfer my cap?

Of course I will measure it carefully, but I want to know if others have made this transfer.

 

I think this was talked about on here a couple weeks ago. Guy saw one on craigslist. Didnt end up fitting because of the cab angle. But some people said they fit. So it might be depending on the company that makes it.

 

bed sizes are pretty close, I did a similar swap from my old '84 ex cab to my old '97 Taco x-cab. One this you will need to be concerned with IMO is the angle of the rear of the cab.
