98 2WD jack location

Where would the crank tool be on a 98 4runner? I just got my 4runner about a month ago and i'm missing my jack tool kit. I would think the jack would be in the pass side compartment in the rear but its not. Some people say they use a bottle jack instead of the factory one, so would that be a better option? thanks.

All I found was the original bottle jack that says toyota, no lug wrench or hook for the jack. Is the hook for the jack the same tool to lower the spear tire? maybe you or someone else can post a picture of the tools so I know what to look for at the junk yard. Thanks again.

There should be a little tool kit in a bag next to the jack. It holds the loop end for the jack handle and the lug wrench. The tool to lower the spare, which is also the extension for the jack handle, would be running across the front of the seats. It looks like this ---------|_|--, sorta. The extension and jack handle loop end are both brown, the lug wrench is silver.
