2nd Gen parts?

I was in a fender bender a couple days ago in my "new" 94 Runner (I've had it a whopping 2 and a half weeks) and my front bumper/valance and driver's side signal light are pretty much shot. I haven't gone under to check the bumper mount, but I have a feeling that will get replaced but it's cheap.

I'm still working with the insurance company of the driver who caused the accident to try and get them to pay, but right now I'm looking for a good source for a new bumper. I'm thinking that for what the body shop quoted me I can throw down a few bucks more and get one of wabfab's tube bumpers put on and next time just mow through anything in my way...

Anyhow, I'm kind of rambling and probably not making sense... Here's the short version:

Anyone have any recommendations of where to look for parts on the cheap in case I get short changed; or if I can get the insurance company to pay for an OE replacement (or equivalent cost) should I go for a tube bumper or junk yard bumper and try to find a brush guard?

The 4runner is stock right now other than the stereo. It's my daily driver (other than my bike when it's warm out), but it will be getting used regularly to get me to fishing/hunting spots and good Mtn bike trails in VA/WV.

Sorry to hear that. That sucks.

Talk to the guy at the body shop, they may let you use the insurance money for the parts you want. For example, they write up a quote for the insurance company and it comes out to $1500 Well they may let you get a bumper from WabFab and use the cost of the valance and bumper and bumper brackets to cover the cost of the Wabbit bumper..

If it ends up that you are paying out of pocket. Use DeathCouger www.nix99.com they have a great inventory and are great to deal with.

Remember that the price of the valance needs to be included in the price of the front bumper no matter where you get it. (Makes the cost diff betweeen a Wabbit bumper and a new and or junkyard setup a little closer)

Good luck.
