a question about 87-95 4x4 pickups

Hi everyone, new here.
I have owned an 87 Turbo SR5 4x4, an 90 SR5 xtra cab 4x4, an 88 long bed, 92 SR5 xtra cab 4x4, an 98 SR5 xtra cab 4x4, and now 2002 double cab supercharged 4x4 which my wife uses daily.

My favorite was between 87 Turbo SR5 4x4, an 90 SR5 xtra cab 4x4, 92 SR5 xtra cab 4x4 and I think it's time to get a nice used one. What type of gas mileage do this normally get, can't remember and what valve are they holding.

I have been looking at some 86-87 SR5 pickups that seem to hold their valve very high, i this the norm?

Thanks, for any information.

By Valve do you mean how well they retain their Value?

for retaining their value it just comes down to their condition and the market IMO.
Mileage will be dependent on on 4 cyl or v-6. None of my trucks have ever been mileage champs, always seem to be around 18-20 combined that went for my 22RE '86 4Runner to my 4.0 '05 Tacoma.

The 2nd Gen trucks look good but I would go for the 3rd Gen X-cab just for a little extra room.
