this is a 1st gen runner mod. im planning to get it done eventually. id like to see someone beat me to it, just to see how it looks and performs.

an additional cab light, just like in front, mounted to the rear wiper housing. and there could be a plug to unplug it right with the rear wiper plug under the shell.

 

You could do that.

Or, you could mount a light to the roll bar and run that to a 12V outlet on the side of the cargo area. Even with the top off you would have a bigger and better located light in the back.
