Cool 5.29's and lockright are in!!!

So far so good!
I can feel the difference with the lockright when turning under acceleration, it tends to push more.
when I let off, it's not bad.
If I listen closely, I can hear the clicking when making a tighter turn, but it's not too bad.
Haven't heard it pop yet - it'll probably happen when my wife is driving it.
Gonna have to take it easy when it's slick out though.
I can tell that right off.
Otherwise, I love the improved acceleration in town, have yet to take it on the highway to see how far off my speedo is though.
First guess, about 15%.
Time to update my profile

Congrats on the new mod. Did you do the work yourself?

Damn man, time to get some bigger tires. I thought my truck was geared low with 33s and that ratio, I bet you're in 4th gear before you hit 30mph... I'm guessing you'll find it closer to 20% off.

One unexpected thing I found going from 4.10 to 5.29, axle wrap went up alot. I've got soft rear springs but I can really feel them wind up now, need to build a traction bar of some sort...

Yup, work was done by me.
I bought a used 3rd with 5.29's and lockright already installed, so it was just a matter of swapping the 3rd (and grinding my housing to accept the v6 gears).
Shane - you're right, it is closer to 20% off, but with an automatic trans it's nice to have the extra giddyup off the line and actually have highway rpm's closer to useable instead of nearing downshift points.
Haven't done much at highway speeds yet, but so far I like it.
I'm planning on going to 32" tires, but that's about it for now.

That sound is the toothed drive plates of the locker "ratcheting" against one another.
