2.4 & 3.0 Wiring harness

Im going to be doing a cab swap and the 3.0`s wireing harness is alot nicer than my 2.4, Cant really afford 300-500 for a new harness and was wondering why im not able to use the 3.0 harness... I understand the efi messes up but isnt that the job of the computer?

There are plenty of differences between the two harnesses to make it more difficult than it's worth to try to graft pieces together and make it work. What I mean is the time you spend doing the work to make it work, you could've re-wired your 22re's harness.

Some of the v6's (all, IIRC) have 2 pick-up coils in the distributor, igniters are different, VAFM's are similar but different enough to cause fun with the plugs, V6 sensors are in different places so wire lengths are different, etc.

What connections? Umm... well there is the possibility that the injectors are of a different type- peak and hold versus saturated, coolant temp and other sensors may be of differing ranges and thus different connectors, the distributor is different as is likely the igniter module....

What are you specifically looking for?
