Hello,

I just got my used transmission in (see forum post from 3 days ago when transmission burnt) and everything is working great but it will not engage into 4wd. A friend with a hoist changed the transmission for me (backyard mechanic) and verified all connectors including the 4wd button on the high/low shifter are secure. The used transmission came with the transfer case attached so we put it in as one unit. I am taking the truck back up on the weekend to try and find why 4wd is not engaging.

1998 Limited Edition with 4wd on the fly.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
