I was cleaning the snow and ice off of the truck this morning and noticed a lot of slop in my stock shackles, when I installed the Downey springs a few years back I had planned on upgrading the shackles but never did. The springs did come with new bushinings but I had to re-use the stock shackle to frame bushings and thats where the slop seems to be. Anyway I just read where Downey went under so my question is, will stock size Toyota spring bushings work with the springs Ive got?? Where can I buy a set of non lift heavy duty shackles for my truck? Ive been looking but really haven't found any other than on Ebay. Did the shackles change in 1989?
