So I had been under the impression that there was no such thing as a 6 inch lift for second gen toyotas, but apparently a guy on craigslist is selling one. Do u think a 6 inch lift would look too high with 33s? originally i just wanted a BL like 2 or 3 inch but he wants to make me a deal.

 

i think it would look like crap. You had better know what you are getting to make sure it is complete.

If you want to do 33's skip the BL and do a rear AAL or new springs and some BJ spacers up front.

 

6" lift usually means a 4" suspension drop bracket lift, with a 2" body lift. Very common, and very useless offroad.

btw body lifts are a bad idea IMHO. Others will disagree, but I think it raises the body too high off the frame.
