after some engine work and putting my power steering pump back on, everything works correctly except it now makes a loud squealing noise when the steering wheel is turned all the way in either direction. it didnt do this before my hg job. could it just be a loose belt? and again, it only makes noise when it is turned all the way

 

Possible loose belt tighten it up used the handy bolt on the idler pulley. OR your idler pulley itself is going out. Fluid?

 

Used ATF not PS fluid, right?

 

oh yea of course atf

and i did look at the belt, i can move it with my finger pretty easily. ill try tightening it up a bit.
