O2 sensor question 88 4x4

I posted a thread about a month ago about where my o2 sensor is suppost to wire into from the sensor to the factory harness and still havent figured out where my factory harness connector for the 02 wire comes from. I was told it comes off the harness wiring by the master cylinder for the brakes... but i dont see one. I dont see how the truck even runs with the wire cut, but it runs pretty good, but i bet it would run alot better if it was hooked up!!

Did you not get the o2 sensor with the plug in connector?

nope, ive owned the truck for about 4 months, i drive it 100mi every day during the week, roadtrip on the weekends and its never been hooked up. When i bought it, the wire was cut off right at the sensor housing, and as far as where the main harness plug is, i havent found it yet, but it should be around the igniter or brake master cylinder wiring?? I can only imagine how much better it will run after i figure this out. I thought maybe someone cut the harness pigtail for the 02 and it was hidden under the wire loom but i still cannot locate it. Any idea what the wire color is suppost to be??

God i wish i knew exaclty where it was at but i got a brain cramp on it but it is indeed in that area i believe i comes out of a branch of wires near the coil/distributor. Its just one little black wire. If i the connector is gone then you are indeed going to have to hard wire it. I think it branches out of a bundle of wires wrapped in black tape....... your truck will run a bit better with it on and especailly for mileage.
