Been reading about these guys for a while and the great light output they have for the $$. Finally got a used pair in great condition for a good price. Just put them on, I'll get some night shots this evening. I turned them on for a bit to make sure the wiring was good and I blinded myself for about 2 minutes.

They are BIG! Barely fit since they are so deep.

 

I've been meaning to get some of those. Was the wiring straight forward?

I have used these on some customers rigs and know plenty of buggy KOH guys running them. They really are amazing lights. I think they run around $115/ea at Checker/Kragen.

The light throw is like driving in broad daylight when its pitch black out.

Yeah the wiring was just like any aux light. I ended up just pulling my Hella's out and wiring these in with the same wires, relay and switch. I looked up that they run at 35W. I didn't test this though with a multimeter. Hopefully the wires wont burn up

Like I said they are DEEP so they are actually just about resting against my grill! I think I got them for $125 shipped. I can't remember now cause it was a while ago. Yes, these are the 7" lights too.

 

Any pics of how deep they are? curious about some replacements for the old TLCs I have.

Let me say: WOW!!! Ok, I don't know how to take photos at night, but, these lights lit up my entire street. I can safely say that I could see at least 500+ yards. I was extremely impressed. I've never seen anything like it.

I'll take some more pix in the morning and get some measurements for depth.

Basically, the pictures do not do justice. I think these lights are well worth the $$. If you're looking to get some blinding light for any sort off after hour offroading, these will fit the bill.

 

Okay, being the employee, I can give you all the down low. These might not be around for a while as they were purchased through Kragen, we are now becoming O'Reilly auto. The 4 inchers were on sale last month for 89 bucks. The 7 inchers are 134.99. We occasionally give a little demo at our store (not supposed to), in daylight they can hit the side of Arby's, about 50 feet outside the front doors. The only downside is, if you buy these through our company, you can only return them if they are un-opened. Once installed, no return. I personally have sold around 15 of these in the past 6 months, all to one kid. He fabs bumpers, going on word of mouth, and includes 2 7 inchers in the cost. Good work too. I have to work in the morning, I will take pics of the directions and actual light, all hardware included and get after tax prices for ya'll.

 

A y'all coming from Ridgecrest? Last time I talked to my family out there and dropped that they all gave me hell for it haha

well, originally a big bear city/fawnskin redneck. Cant order through me, but if you came into the store i could do a little price massaging. Im heading in in about an hour, just covering an employee who had to go down south, should be off at 1230, its OT so I ain't complaining.

 

Do a Satoshi-like grill, it'll look better and the removal of the center piece should allow for a better fit
