Well for those of you who forgot or didnt know. my 85 PU was stolen back in august and stripped. so i had to find a new truck to start building. i was sad because i loved my pickup. luckily i found the perfect truck. here is what my 85 looked like when i got it back. and my new truck.

this is my "new" truck. its a 83 with a lift and 32s. nice thing is it has a 86 EFI motor in it that was certified as a legal swap. so i have all the parts i need. otherwise to d othe swap i would have had to buy EVERYTHING in the engine bay. but now i have the whole truck to part out.

 

Congrads on your new truck, 1st gen is my favorite body style.

 

anyone happen to have a quick pic of the spark plug wires locations on the cap? i have to replace mine but they did not come on the truck and i dont feel like switching them up.

umm ok im not trying to be insensitive or anything but was it just the engine tranny and headlights stripped by those a$$holes? cuz id think they would at least take wheels, interior stuff, and possibly that solid front axle.

or is that stuff u had to get again?

engin, tranny, drive shafts, tranfer case. braking system. nothing interior beside stereo and seat covers. left my sr5 guages. i know how many pople would love to get ahold of that. left my axles and tires and lift. lol. that was the good thing. they took only about half of what they could.

 

well, took a little more than it looks. yeah ur definitly lucky they could've taken SOOOO much more. thats the problem with these toyota trucks. they have lots of good stuff already on them.
