Hood with Scoop on 97 4runner?

Hood with Scoop on 97 4runner?

i have a 1997 limited 4wd 4runner and wanted to know if the 2002 hood with the scoops would fit on my truck, does anybody know? if so, where could i find one?

All 3rd gen hoods are the same size and will bolt-up fine, unless you have any kind of body damage.

Local junkyards, Craigslist, ebay, online junkyards if you don't mind hassling with shipping.
You can look into an aftermarket fiberglass hood too if you wanted, maybe even go for the carbon fiber look...you'll need to add some NOS stickers for full power gain though.

yea def hit up the junk yards and craigslist first.... i bought my hood from carpartswholesale.com and it was 100 bucks for the hood and 100 bucks shipping, but i worked out the military discount.... and then you have to go to TRDparts4u.com and get the scoop parts... which are mad expensive too... so def try to get used first, much cheaper

Carpartswholesale.com is an awesome site.
Just found it a few months ago and ordered some corner lenses and headlight housings - fast shipping and quality parts.

He's right though, try and find a complete used hood before piecing it together.
