Hey Guys,
We are still in the process of building up my sons 4runner (89 SR5). Came across a guy here in the local community that has a 98 E-Locker installed into a 92 rear end with 4.30 gears. Stock inside components, Housing modifications look good. He is asking 400.00 for drum to drum, with switch, wiring, etc. Ive done a bit of searching online, both here and elsewhere and prices seem to be all over the place.
1. Any thoughts on this price?
2. And...just for our planning phase... as far as daily driveablility with SAS, its better to have a selectable in the rear and a lunchbox in the front?

From all my searching, that sounds like a really good deal. There are guys getting $700-800 for the e-locker alone, depending on location.
