changing egr valve

hey yall, i just recieved my egr valve in the mail and it did not come with any gaskets. Before I install it tomorrow I want to make sure it will still seal alright if i use the old one which is probably 20 years old.
I figure it doesnt get real bad hot to affect it much
If I re use the old one what can i look forward to?

Why not just go the auto parts store and get one?

It's there for a reason! Do you want to replace it now or later?

If you're gonna tear back into this thing, then sure reuse the old gasket.
