20r swap

I seem to lossing a fair bit of oil with the current 20r i have in the truck ...

I've got a line on a 86 parts truck with a 22r .... would that bolt right up to my trans.... ?

although .... I am considering ... swaping the whole drivetrain of the 86 in ... so i could have the 5 speed. 22r ... 5 speed ... transfercase.

i wish i was in your situation

the 20R and 22R are the same block, so your transmission should bolt right up

i'm eventually wanting to do the same, i'd like to replace my ancient 20R with a newer 22R and transmission. the hardest part about that swap would be to get custom drivelines made since the newer(good) 5 speeds are longer than L series trannies like mine
