I rewired my MAF sensor on my 1998 4runner, to the sensor from the newer 4runner and tacoma. It was fine for a while, but then it started to throw a p0100 dtc and sometimes when I getting into the throttle, it cuts out like fuel cut, and then it throws the code.

I am wondering, if I install the URD split second controller for the timing and fuel. will that remedy my problem? Or possibly could I install an ECM from a 99-02?

 

i have no problems with the 99up maf mod could the maf be bad
