Okay, my boy is going to be one at the end of this month and is just about too tall for his infant car seat which I put in the front and turn off the air bags. Any suggestions on forward facing car seats for my 01 extra cab tacoma?

 

My daughters been in a xtra cab since she was a baby..Now shes 3 and has a booster seat and rides in the front and in the xtra cab when the wife goes with us. Just make sure its secured well and keep the air bag off..And get a nice padded one with the arm rest and cup holders so he can be comfy too...Walmart has very nice ones and good prices.

 

X2 with turning the airbag off. C-spine injury. just make sure its properly secured, with the latches on the back anchored. my 03 had the latch for the car seat on the passengers side in the extended cab. might look for that. never ran a seat back there though.
