i have a 04 tacoma 5 lug, and i was wondering about putting new gears in it. i heard that the gears for that year and a few others were different than the old 7.5 rear end? anyone know if that true or wheres a good link to find gears?

 

is a 5 lug a 2 wheel drive?

 

ya its just a 2wd. non prerunner.

I think it makes a difference if it's V6 or 4cyl.
