coolant leak i think

coolant leak i think

I got my truck going good and i looked it over after i drove it and herd a hiss kinda noise and saw kinda a little bubbles coming from the Intake im not sure if what it is all about so any advice

From where the intake attaches to the head? There are coolant passages there. You could try snugging up all the bolts first, but you may need to replace the intake gasket. There are some other coolant hoses around the intake, so rule out any loose hose clamps or anything, too.

Ok well do you think it would get me to wear i would need to go with out doing alot of damage to anything

If it's just some bubbling, and not dripping/pouring, then yeah, you're probably fine for a bit, as long as you keep an eye on it. It could also be causing a vacuum leak (if it's the intake that's leaking), which won't help your power or gas mileage, but if everything is working ok, and you aren't really losing coolant, then I guess you'd probably be ok. I would want to know for sure what it is exactly, before deciding whether to let it go for a while.

when i did my head gasket, i forgot to tighten up that coolant bi-pass in the middle of the intake and it dumped out water
