I think you'd benefit from spending sometime using the search function. But here's some help to get your started

IFS = Independent Front Suspension

SAS = Solid Axle Swap, which in summary provides far better articulation, but at the expense of ride quality on the road.

Going from 31 to 33 will give you worse mpg and a noticeable loss of power. However, in my experience, neither of these are as bad as others on this forum make them out to be.

The first mod is somewhat debatable. In my opinion, it'd be best to just get out there and wheel it stock for a while. Just stick to fire roads and other mild stuff. You'll start to see what you think would benefit you the most. In general, I'd say rock sliders are a good first mod. However, if you are in need of tires soon because your current ones are worn out, then might as well step them up to something a bit beefier.

Get out there and wheel, and don't be afraid to use the SEARCH function!

Another bit of good advice would be to scan through the forums that consentrate on your year truck and look through the "post your pics" threads so u can see what people have done with their trucks. You'll see things you like and ideas you would like to stay away from. But what works best for me is to just take the truck out and wheel it. You'll definately start to notice what you want for your truck. Enjoy it..
