manual hubs

manual hubs

i have been searchin about why manual hubs are better than my regular 4wd in my 92 4 runner..why is that.. and does it matter if u dont have manual hubs for a bj spacer/cruiser coil lift

If your 4Runner has the type of hubs that are always locked, then everything in the front axle is turning all the time, by having manual hubs you can unlock the front axle so nothing but the wheels are turning. The manual hubs will save alot of wear on the front drive line when it not needed, you might also see a slight power increase and a little better gas mileage also, thats why manual hubs are better.
