I have a 87 toyota 4X4 and I keep shorting out my fuse (#30A) located under my hood on the right side. I can not figure out what is causing this problem. Could it be in the wiring? I put a new one in and it starts right up and I get into 2nd gear and it stops running due to the short. Any ideas at this point would help. I do not want to start taking things apart without knowing what I am looking for.

 

what does the lid on the fuse block say the fuse is for?

 

it is the efi relay.
