I just traded for a 90 toyota v6 4x4. The guy did me good cause i got it and it sounds like a rist pin or the lifters is tappin! so I was wounderin if a 94 4runner 3.0 will fit in its place? is it the same motor? cause i found one with the tranny for $300

 

depends on the transmission as to how easy the swap would be; same tranny? Easy.

 

all im doing is swappin motors. the motor that i bought came with a 2wheel drive tranny. But im pretty sure that its the same motor i have in my truck.

 

If the tranny is automatic & different, there may be issues with the ECU.
