skid plate reinforcement

I have searched and could not find a thread covering this. Has anyone reinforced their stock skid plates? If so how did you do it? Pics? I would like to get a set of aftermarket ones but I want to hold off until the spring to get them.

It's not worth the time and effort is why no one has done it. Invest in a decent aftermarket skid plate. If your bashing your stock one hard enough to reinforce it you need a real one.
