hellas on factory roof rack

has anyone tried putting hella 500s on their factory roof rack? i know i saw it around here once but i cant seem to find it anymore and want to see how it looks.

i was thinking more like directly on the front factory crossbar, not an aftermarket roof rack

I think I remember trying to do this back in the day myself. I am pretty certain that the front crossbar is just too far back to actually get any benefit from the lights. I personally do not like roof mounted lights unless they are setup properly, otherwise they can just blind you and actually decrease your night vision.

Its easy enough to mount some lights to your stock front bumper though. Just drill some holes and its a plug and play operation. Did this on my truck, theres probably some pictures in my signature link
