im converting to a Chevy 4.3 w/ 700r4 & want to run either 39.5 boggers or 42" TSLs.is my axles stout enough to handle these tires or do i need to go with a smaller tire?it will be used for a little street cruising & Mud boggin.im from nw georgia & we mud alot not to many rocks around here.
If i posted in wrong section let me know.
im also thinking of locking rearend wat do people think , most likely lincoln locked ,for in this economy not a whole lot of extra cash.

Should be plenty of axle if you run Longfeilds

With stock birfs.. it would be questionable, we break them with 22r's quite often. I would also get a truss and gusset kit from WabFab or something, that way you dont bend your housing
Knuckle gusset kit:

My buddyis running a 350 in his yota and the only thing he's broken is spider gears but you will probably be running spools or something anyways
