Not Ready for emissions tests

Hey, what's up? My check engine light came on in my 01 4runner last Monday, so I pulled the code with my OBD tool, and it was for the evaporator system. I reset the check engine light, and so far it hasn't come back. But, I went to get my truck inspected last Friday, and the Evaporator and Cat come back as "Not Ready" on my inspection sheet. I'm guessing that since I reset the check engine, that's why the systems are not ready. Anybody have any input on how to correct this? I think if I just drive it more (not sure how much more) that then it might come back as ready. Any thoughts?

just keep driving it. every system in the new cars and trucks have to much computer crap. every system has a drive cycle they have to go thought be for the computer can check off that the system is working properly. you just have to keep driving it. if the code was for the evap system it could be that the gas cap wasn't on tight enough (most likely the problem).

My '06 popped that evap code, the gas cap was bad replaced it with a factory one for less than $20. GTG.
