so i refilled my a/c unit with a kit i bought at walmart and the a/c is ice cold now but when I push the a/c button in there is an occasional squeel from under the hood. I'm guessing its a loose pulley but I'll have to wait to check it out until tomorrow. Just wanted to check if anyone had any experiences like this and if they already had the fix. Thanks for any info!

Probably the bearing in the dummy pulley, try repacking it

 

this might sound dumb but is that just by putting some grease around or in the bearing attached to the wheel of the pulley?

 

No its not dumb, everyone learns at some point.
It would require removal of the pulley, then you'd add some grease internally into the bearing, kind of roll it in there so it coats everything.
The dummy pulley is the one thast there to guide the belt, its not attached to the pump or the main pulley assy.
