O.k., should be a no brainer. '91 runner, drivers door handle is broken, single screw in the middle of the handle, so pop out the screw, and I can't get the thing out. Can't see any other fasteners, gentle prying got me nowhere. I feel foolish asking this, but how do I get the handle off and out?

Now push the whole assembly forward or slide it forward ( towards the front of the truck) and it should pop out . Be careful once it pops out the metal rod is attached by a plastic clip you have to move out of the way before you remove it completely.

 

IF you break it I have an extra grey drivers side.
