Found an awsome 1988 22re 4x4 5 speed with 73k original miles.cab and frame near perfect. stored for 11 years. Box rotten at seams. found 1986 with fiberglass box and many good parts with rotten frame(beyond repair). the 86 has rot at the seam, base of drivers door, but the 88 has perfect doors. I really would like to swap the vented windows in the 86 doors with the unvented from 88. Can I do this, or is the frame for the vented/thinner window welded into the door? Any help would be appreciated before I go tearing sh8 apart for nothing. Thanks!
