02 4runner multi-mode 4x4 towing?

I have an 02 4runner with multi-mode 4x4 what do you guys think about towing in 4x4?

You taking that 3000lb boat offroad somewhere?!? If you're just driving on pavement, you'll be fine (and you'll get better mileage) in 2WD.

i do it on the ramp for traction pulling it out of the water but i was just wondering if there was any issue with towing and 4x4

I dont see any issue of using it on the ramp. I have a really steep ramp that i use often and i put it in 4Lo when pulling up the steep incline. I dont use it while towing on the road.
