well it was streight forward. i have not posted pix of this truck since the swap almost a year ago. thought maybe a few pix would help. i'd post more but i dont know how.

the swap was fun. still some things to work out. a few things held me up such as the gas tank from the 89 efi frame and the 90 carb frame two totally diff. tanks. to keep my carb which i hated to do, but the efi wasnt all there with the doner, i orderd a tank for an 89 4x4 canada model, along with pick up tube assmbly, and gas sending unit. now it's as it should be if built from factory.

my camplaints? carb. baught a new one and just never adjusted right, i hate these carbs. still have some things like shifter boots to put in and steering wheel alinginment. can the steering gear box be adjusted? alot of play in the wheel. anyway. i hope these pix post. post more if i can fit them.

 

oh. i remember why i got back on here.. i was wondering what the next step should be..

the whole carb thing bothers me alot. it sux. i dont know how to adjust it, no one else has got it right. i dont want to waste any more money fooling with it. sooo.. i'm thinking of a more simple carb set up from lc.. or

going all out and pulling the 22r and replacing with a 4.3. i'm happy with the 22r other then it's put putting a$$ carb. i cant tell you how much i hate this thing. plus the 22r has like 30k on the rebuild.. hate to retire such a young healthy motor. but the 4.3 would be god awsome.

4.3 or 22r lc carb????? should we poll?
