83 toyota

hey all, well i was lookin at what was my SO called 85 and it turns out to be a 83....really weird...it was make september of 83.....and it has the newer body style

weird i was gonna say maybe they swapped body but if the plate sez that it must be true!

Car manufacturers sell the next model year vehicle as early as September, if not earlier. It was MADE in '83, but is an '84 model year.

ever think it could be an 84...lol..84's went into production in late 83...therefore it is an '83..but classified as an '84

ya i no its weird........all the plates say 83 and i looked up the VIN and sure enough it was a red 1983 toyota pickup 4x4 shortbox......exactly what my truck is
