94 3.0 V6 engine into 88 4runner???
i just just realized something. i have this 94 3.0 V6 engine that came from a 93 toyota 4runner auto (guess engine was replaced) that i'm currently rebuilding. it just dawned on me, can this engine work in my 88 4runner that has the 3.0 V6 but has a manual transmission? i mean, will it plug right in with my wiring harness? or do i need to get an ECU and harness from a V6 auto?
