Need manual hub help

I'm getting ready to install the manual hub parts to my 01 Tacoma. My factory manual dosen't have any info about the manual hubs. Since I hate to spend $150+ bucks for a manual with the info, (I kinda cheap had way) about manual hubs.

Can anyone with that info please email me and help me with torque specs. , views of parts, etc. ? or a link I can download the info.

steveanita@worldnet.att.net

Rereading my post, I sure used the word "manual" alot

Thanks
Steve

I hope maybe some of the weekender's will have a reply.

I think the info I need is also the same on 3rd Gen 4Runners.

Thanks

Steve, have you looked at this?

http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/review...ub_conversion/

Mark mentions "One of the last steps to finishing the knuckles is to torque the hub lock nut to 203 ft.-lbs. " in the article. I can put you in touch with him if you want.

Also, WATRD (Rob from WA) has manuals and he might have the info you need. Go to www.watrd.com and shoot him an email.

BUMP!!!

I wasn't aware that you can put manual hubs on a Tacoma if it didn't come with them. I was under the impression you needed the ORS kit like the 4Runner guys get.

News to me...but maybe he finally did it...?
I wouldn't think he would bother because he's going SAS soon...(and he still had auto-hubs last time I saw him a few weeks ago)

we still need everything in the kit, its just cheaper to buy them from a guy doing a sas. 4runner guys could do the same thing im sure (i think they would just have to re-use their inner cv joints).
