For the front you have:

arb
aussie
loc-right
detroit tru trac

I have listed this in order of what i would prefer from the most arb (what i got), to the detroit, which is just a limited slip.

I have heard of all these but where is the best place to buy one. I have searched around several places and they have them for pre 95 group and the 2005 and up. I even found some 98 - 2004 but no ARB for a 97 that I can find. do you know a part number or location to buy one?

What about an Aussie?

Thanks,

Thanks for the response.

I have auto hubs.

Why are you suggesting the tru trac?

Thanks

Any ifs locker from 1986-2004 (sans 2003-2004 4runner) will work in your truck. any toyota 7.5 27 spline locker

The reason I wouldn't suggest the tru trac is because, your locking it, why a posi? Most of the time when i loose traction and really need the extra oopmh is when i lift a wheel, and when you do that with a limited slip you get no power.

Eastcoast Gear Supply - i would go with him, really good dude.
Just Differentials
Ebay
4wheelparts

Just google what you want and try to find it the cheapest. The aussie and loc-right you can install your self, where as the others you really need professional help. You could find your local gear shop and ask how much to install an arb or tru trac. If you ever thought of regearing now would be the time to do it., since your already going to be int he diff.
